We are Game Workers of Southern California (GWSC) is an all-volunteer labor rights advocacy group made up of workers, students, and activists fighting for better working conditions in the California games industry and beyond.
Our primary function is to coordinate direct action by our members, and support the direct action of other organizations. To achieve this goal, we educate our own members on organizing strategies through trainings, workshops, and discussions.
We also help educate the general public on labor abuses within the industry through our GWSC publications, university outreach programs, and public events. Finally, we provide support, advice, and legal and organization connections to workers seeking to organize their own workplaces.
